On January 13 of this year, through Circular 236 of the Judicial Power Superior Council, it was determined by Clerk 1 of the base salary, according to the Ordinary Budget Law Position List of the Republic for 2023, will remain at the amount of 462,200 (four hundred and sixty-two thousand and two hundred colones).
The amount is maintained as the previous 2 years to establish diverse penalties in the Penal Code, as well as taxes and fines to use the value of the base salary when its necessary, as determined in Law 7337.
It is important to mention that such base salary will be in force during the following year, even if the salary for the fixation is modified during that period. If there are different salaries for the same position in the same Budget Law, the higher salary will be taken for this article, as mentioned in Article 2 of Law 7337.
