Before serving as Competition Superintendent of El Salvador, he was Director of The International Legal Assistance Consortium - ILAC Program for Haiti, in addition, he was a Consultant and researcher in El Salvador in the areas of transparency, administration of justice and impunity for the Development Program United Nations and other private institutions.

Mr. Díaz has become a national benchmark as a promoter of economic and social issues, especially in terms of Competition.

In addition, he was a representative of the lawyers' union in the National Council of the Judiciary.
