New arrivals – June 13, 2019
On July 01, the "Public Finance Strengthening Law" will be applied, which approves the payment of VAT (Value Added Tax) on all sales and provision of services.
This June 11, the Regulations of the Value Added Tax Law were published in the Official Gazette. This details that the VAT tax will be 13% and will replace the IGV (General Sales Tax).
In addition, the new legislation will include the "Green Tax" that will be taxed on non-returnable packaging products, with the aim of supporting the environment and reducing contamination of this type of product.
The Tax Administration will update the condition of IGV taxpayers to register them as VAT taxpayers.
