RTCA SPECIFICATIONS 67.04.76:18 DAIRY PRODUCTS. MILK POWDER AND CREAM POWDER

On August 28, 2019, through Resolution No. 413-2019, the Council of Ministers of Economic Integration of Central America decided to ratify the Central American Technical Regulation RTCA 67.04.76:18 DAIRY PRODUCTS. POWDERED MILK AND POWDERED CREAM. SPECIFICATIONS, which was approved by the Food and Beverage Subgroup and the Standardization Measures Subgroup.

The technical regulation is an adaptation of the Codex Standard for Milk Powders and Cream Powders. CODEX STAN 207-1999 and will come into force as of February 28, 2020.

The purpose of the related regulation is to establish the specifications that powdered milk and powdered cream must meet, which refer to products obtained by removing water from milk. It will apply to powdered milk and powdered cream intended for direct human consumption or further processing in the territory of the States Parties.
