Ana Carolina joined LatinAlliance in 2010 and specializes in Intellectual Property and Civil Procedural Law. Since she joined the firm, she has been in charge of opposition litigation regarding the inscription of commercial distinctive signs for local and international entities, as well as the patent protection.
She is currently responsible for the firm’s Intellectual Property Department in Nicaragua and is in charge of managing the portfolio of brands, trade names, signs of commercial advertising, patents and other distinctive elements.
She is a graduate in Legal Sciences from the Central American University, UCA, Nicaragua. Ana Carolina has participated in several seminaries on intellectual property, patents, brand registration and apellations of origin. She has a postgraduate degree in Legal Framework Nicaragua-China Taiwan Commercial Relations from the American University, Nicaragua.
