The Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Nicaragua has published a press release informing that as of January 1, 2024, the 8% salary increase for workers nationwide in all its companies came into effect (industrial parks, tobacco companies, call centers, clothing companies, textile companies, harnesses, agribusiness sector, shrimp farms and any other that is under the Free Zone Regime).
The agreement approving said benefit was carried out by the Free Trade Zone Tripartite Commission, establishing the minimum monthly salary at C$ 8,746.46.
